Glavno mesto province, Antalija, upravičeno imenujejo tudi ?biser turške riviere?. Antalija je urejeno mesto z veliko zelenja in parki. Obiskovalcem ponuja široko paleto znamenitosti in naravnih lepot, pa tudi številne možnosti za nakupe in zabavo. Turška obala v območju Antalye ima sredozemsko podnebje z dolgimi, sončnimi poletji. Že aprila se temperature dvignejo do 20°C. Približno toliko meri v tem času tudi temperatura vode, ki se poleti dvigne na skoraj 30°C. Temperature zraka se v visoki sezoni dvignejo na okoli 40°C, vendar pihljanje vetra poskrbi za osvežitev. V poletnih mesecih praviloma ne dežuje.
