A bazaar is a marketplace that can be brick or covered. In the Middle East and North Africa, this is the name of the trade and craft district in cities. The word comes from the Persian word bāzār. In Turkey, bazaars are very diverse, they can be old bazaar, Friday bazaar, local bazaar...etc. The bazaar has locals selling a variety of goods, from food and teas to clothes and jewelry. They like to negotiate and lower the price to some extent. From my experience it is very interesting and a good life lesson. If I had more time, I would be happy to attend another bazaar.
