Lepe pozdrave iz Antaliye,
Današnja tema bloga je vera. Turčija uradno posvetna republika, brez državne vere. Ustava zagotavlja svobodno odločitev glede vere in prepričanja.
Greetings from Antalya,
Today's blog topic is faith. Turkey is officially a secular republic, without a state religion. The Constitution guarantees freedom of choice regarding religion and belief. However, the majority of the population is of the Islamic faith. The non-Muslim inhabitants are Christians, and the majority are Greek Orthodox and members of the Armenian Church or Jews. Mosques are characteristic of Muslims, and there are quite a few of them in Antalya. Among the most famous are İskele Mosque, Tekeli Mehmet Paşe Mosque, Yivli Minare Mosque, Kesik Minare Mosque. Its famous feature is that it was first a Roman temple, then a church and finally a mosque. There is also an Orthodox church in Antalya.
